Hi, I’m Chris Oliver. During two careers in public service, policing and local government, I coached leaders, individuals and teams, once achieving a 400% increase in successful promotion candidates through effective coaching and mentoring.
Despite seeing people grow and achieve better results I decided to go deeper. I wanted to learn more about how we show up in the world. How we create our own results, and even our own failures! By working deeply on myself I can help my clients go there too.
I work with a variety of clients. One example is an individual who was desperate to gain promotion but faltered in 4 successive rounds of interviews by being overcome with nerves. They found themselves stumbling over their words and found it impossible to concentrate through the chatter in their head. After working with me they passed the next promotion interview on the first attempt! Not only that, they went straight on to pass another interview which gained them the higher salary they wanted to achieve, and the specialist role of their dreams!
My role as Executive Coach saw me working with a senior leader in the public sector whose goal was to gain a Chief Officer role. At the time they had no strategy to do so and had to overcome significant challenges from within the organisation. Following our work together they gained a COO role in a well-respected national charity. Their office is perfectly located, vastly improving their work satisfaction and providing them excellent work-life balance.
As well as one-to-one coaching in person or via video link I provide an experience in the outdoors. As a coach and fully qualified mountain leader, I will guide you through awesome locations in the UK. During our 2 days together we will connect with nature, stretch physical and mental boundaries and return with a step-by-step plan to propel you towards your goals.
